What’s Marmite? Well, basically marmite is a spread paste made from yeast extract. As many other typical products of a certain country, it was thought up from the leftovers of the elaboration of other products. In this case, it comes from the residual remains of beer. This is the reason why it has a salty taste and is not sweet. Marmite is cataloged as a flavoring food and it can be found in all the Anglo-Saxon countries. It is especially popular in England.
